Robert D. Goodwin

Captain, USN Chief, Dynamic Network Defense Operations, USCYBERCOM

CAPT Goodwin currently serves as the Chief, Dynamic Network Defense Operations Division at United States Cyber Command. A native of Pennsauken, New Jersey, Captain Goodwin graduated from the United States Naval Academy in May 1986 where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

Prior to his current duty station, CAPT Goodwin’s most recent assignment was Commanding Officer of U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Far East in Yokosuka, Japan from July 2008 to January 2011. In this regional commander role he provided reliable and secure communications and information technology services to shore commands throughout Japan, Korea, Singapore and Diego Garcia.
