Lt. Col. Karl Hill has been serving in the USMC since 1993 in a variety of roles.  His distinguished career in the military includes program management for the USMC Enterprise Financial Data Systems ERP system and Program manager for development of Battle Command Display at 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. This system utilizes open source software for a decision support tool that drastically reduced time to decision by leadership by providing a dashboard information system incorporating disparate data sets, automating data sharing and collaboration, and displaying information in a rapidly understandable format for total battlefield awareness. He has also worked in deploying autonomous systems in a variety of battlefield environments.Lt. Col. Hill is also an experienced aviator with over 2000 hours of high-performance aircraft flight hours with instructor-level qualifications in all mission areas.
