RE: Access and Information on the OSCMIS Project

The purpose of this note is to simplify the request process for the Open Source Corporate Management Information System (OSCMIS). We apologize to any and all who might have submitted a request for the OSCMIS code, but have not yet been directly contacted by an OSSI representative. It was a SNAFU on our part for the delay. Our goal is to streamline the process and provide you with access to the program so that you can decide if the OSCMIS can work for your agency or organization.

For information and to download a copy of the OSCMIS (Open Software License V 3.0 in pdf), please click this link:
http://www.oss-institute.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=332&Itemid=210

To request a copy of the software suite, please sign the license and forward it back to OSSI (via email, fax or postal mail). We will contact you to answer questions or set a briefing with DISA staff as soon as possible. We have also attached a copy of a brochure distributed by DISA on the OSCMIS program.

We are also planning on hosting a public briefing on the OSCMIS project in Washington on Tuesday, 1 September 2009. OSSI member organizations and Government representatives are invited free of charge. There will be a small fee for non-members.

Seating is very limited, so please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested in participating in this working meeting.
Additional information on that meeting will be announced on the OSSI website (www.oss-institute.org), or you can contact me directly at jmw at oss-institute.org.

Again, we apologize if you have requested information but have yet to be contacted. Our goal is to make this information, and the program itself, as accessible as possible to anyone interested.

Thank you for your interest in the OSCMIS project.
