In it's simplest form OSSI advocates for the adoption of Open Source Software in the government. We accomplish this by bridging the gap between government and industry and by providing venues for discussions collaboratively led by government and industry.

This Open Source Software community is supplier and product agnostic. Our goal at OSSI is to bring industry and government together through a series of cost effective events focused on the missions of specific government agencies.

Events are content rich and include a variety of expert speakers from both government and industry. OSSI qualifies attendance to assure a direct connection to the Open Source Software community. The result is highly interactive and fully engaged participation by attendees in all discussions.
